I write about you, the people you know or your experiences. Sometimes I write about the lessons you've learned or knowledge you've gained living your life. Other times I help bring your old photos, heirlooms or mementos to life.
We all have different things we want to share or be remembered. Any of them can be the beginning of your story or the story itself. I can write your autobiography documenting every moment if you'd like. But our lives are a collection of stories and capturing even one of them goes a long way towards showing others who we are and what we care about.
Below are a few ideas to get your wheels turning.
Moments
I write about moments that, in a lifetime that spans years, occur quickly and sometimes unexpectedly. Lessons, laughs and epiphanies can appear in a blink and just as quickly be over. But something happened. You remember. It's amazing the number of pages filled by 15 minutes that occurred years ago.
Knowledge Gained and Lessons Learned
I write about your thoughts and perspectives gained living your life. I write the things you've learned through living and listening. Through the decisions you've made. Both good and bad. Things you don't want the reader to miss. Possibly things you'd suggest they avoid.
Vestiges
I write about your china cabinet currently serving its fifth generation. Where the journey started and the other living rooms it's called home on the way to your place. I write about the ticket stub you've held onto for years. I put words to photos that otherwise over time will lose their meaning. I write about any of the mementos you've gathered along the way and the stories they represent.
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
